How local groups can apply for a small grant.
Each year the council sets aside money for small grants to local groups. Most grants are between £100 and £1,000.
Your group must be not-for-profit, have its own bank account and benefit people who live in the town.
Apply using the short form from the Clerk. Tell us what the money is for, who it helps and what it costs.
Full Council decides grants twice a year, in May and November. A councillor who belongs to your group will not take part in the decision.
We ask for a short note and a photo afterwards, and we publish every grant we give on the Spending page.
